Guitarist KRIS NORRIS Confirms He Has Left DARKEST HOUR

September 11, 2008

Guitarist Kris Norris has confirmed that he has left the Washington D.C. metal band DARKEST HOUR (as first reported by BLABBERMOUTH.NET yesterday). "Yes, it's not a rumor — I have left DARKEST HOUR," Norris said in a statement sent to BLABBERMOUTH.NET. "Well, I'm not in the band anymore; see it how you want. Let's do no press statements, let's do no bullshit, let's just leave it what it is — I'm not in the band anymore, that's all. See you if I see you. I'm actively pursing some producing routes and any band that might want a guitarist, feel free. I haven't off music totally, not just yet."

Kris Norris recently added an option to buy his instructional DVDs for direct digital download in iPod MP4 format optimized for TV viewing. Each DVD costs $10. The main difference between the digital version and the DVD edition is that the DVD is sold as a DVD-ROM which contains the booklet and extras, including previously unreleased songs featured throughout the DVDS and two subtitle tracks.

DARKEST HOUR's latest album, "Deliver Us", was released in July 2007 via Victory Records. The follow-up to 2005's "Undoing Ruin" was recorded at the Warehouse in Vancouver, Canada.
